In Concourse, a syllabus is made up of a series of components called Items. Some Items on your syllabus will already be populated with information and other Items will need you to enter the information the first time and make quick edits later.  

Items include:

• Contact Information & Office Hours

• Description (pre-populated)

• Goals and Student Expectations

• Student Learning Outcomes (pre-populated)

• Textbook(s) (pre-populated)

• Assessments

• Grading Criteria and Grading Scale

• Course Policies

• Department Policies (pre-populated)

• College Policies (pre-populated)
