Learning Resources for Active Learning and Classroom Engagement!

Welcome to the Active Learning Workshop LibGuide created for you by the Learning Resources Department. The Learning Resources Department consists of the Libraries and Academic Support Centers (ASC) on each campus. The Libraries have full-time staff and librarians available during the day to support you and your students, as well as evening staff to assist patrons after normal business hours. The Academic Support Centers provide on campus and virtual tutoring for SJR State students. In addition to these basic services, both the Libraries and the ASC maintain numerous resources available to support the academic needs of faculty, staff, and students.

This guide will introduce you to the various services and resources provided by the Learning Resources Department. Additionally, outside resources that you might find helpful will be included for quick reference. If you would like to suggest a resource to be added to this guide please contact Dr. Brittnee Fisher at or 386-312-4158.
