Never hesitate to ask for help! Whether it's help with what you're learning in class, what you need to do to register for classes, or just help in general, there is someone on campus who is here for you.

Need some help in math, writing, or science? Free tutoring is available in each Library and online through tutor.com in Canvas. 

Stressed out? SJR State's CARE Counselor is ready to talk with you on campus or online.

You can always come to the Library (or call us or chat with us online) - if we can't help with something, we will know who can help you and get you connected with them. SJR State has people all over campus who are ready to assist you. Here are some key departments and information sources:

• Academic Calendar - Pay attention to deadlines!
• Advising  - Advisors will help you plan your course of study and can help you navigate college life.
• Application and Admissions  - For things related to registration & transcripts.
• Bookstore 
• College Catalog - The College Catalog contains course descriptions and student-related policies
• Disability Services - Need an accommodation? These are the people to contact.
• Financial Aid - For help with the FAFSA and scholarships, go to Financial Aid. 
• Graduation Requirements & Application - It all leads up to this! 
• Testing Center - Need to take a placement test or a test to be admitted to a program? The Testing Center can get you signed up!
