Introduction

MLA Style is from the Modern Language Association. It is commonly used in language and literature disciplines.

MLA style is most commonly used to cite sources within the language arts, cultural studies, and other humanities disciplines. The 9th edition of the MLA manual was published in April 2021. For more information, please consult the official MLA Handbook (9th ed.).
