DONATIONS

Viking Exchange - Take what you need, leave what you can when you canItems for the Viking Exchange are generously donated by SJR State employees and students.

Each campus Library accepts donations of goods any time during Library hours.

If you are interested in donating and feeding student success, these items are always appreciated:  

FOOD

  • Canned 'heat & eat meals'

    • Soup

    • Pasta

  • 'Just add water' meals in cups or pouches

    • Mac & cheese

    • Oatmeal

    • Soup

    • Rice

  • Canned goods

    • Meat - tuna, chicken

    • Vegetables

    • Fruit

  • Pasta

  • Pasta sauce 

  • Granola bars

  • Snack cracker packs

  • Cereal - cups, pouches, boxes

PERSONAL CARE ITEMS

  • Bath soap
  • Shampoo
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Shaving cream
  • Razors
  • Deodorant
  • Feminine hygiene products

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

  • Pens, pencils
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Binders and notebook paper
  • Folders

All donated items must be new, unopened, and unexpired. Items that are outside of the scope of the Viking Exchange will be donated to a local food pantry.

Monetary donations to support the Viking Exchange may be made through the SJR State Foundation
