Looking for Tutoring services on campus? SJR State students can get free tutoring in math, writing, and science in each campus Library when classes are in session. Subjects and hours vary by campus. Select your campus below for more details.
At SJR State, many of your courses will require you to use the American Psychological Association's (APA) citation and format style for your academic work. This tutorial provides an overview of APA style. It is an excellent place to start to learn about using the APA format.
The librarians create Research Guides or LibGuides, to guide students to quality information in a variety of areas based on subject matter or course. The Research Guides generally include book and database recommendations as well as citation assistance, websites and more. Contact Joyce Smith if you would like to have a Guide created for one or more of your courses.
