BSC 1020C - Human Biology and Laboratory

BSC 2010 - General Biology I

  • Primarily for science majors, this course emphasizes biology at the cellular level.

BSC 2011 - General Biology II

  • Primarily for science majors, this course emphasizes topics above the cellular level.

Anatomy and Physiology

BSC 2085 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I

  • This course provides students with an overview of cell structure and function, and a thorough understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, articular, nervous, and endocrine systems of the human body.

BSC 2086 - Human Anatomy and Physiology II

  • This course is a continuation of BSC 2085. It provides students with a thorough understanding of the anatomy and physiology of
    the cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic, immune, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems of the human body.

Microbiology

MCB 2010 - Microbiology

  • A basic study of microorganisms with emphasis on scientific principles within a laboratory framework

Marine Biology

OCB 1000 - Marine Biology

  • This course is a broad introduction to the biology of the seas and its inhabitants. Emphasis will be on the structure, form and function, physiological and behavioral adaptations and a survey of the major local marine organisms and habitat zones.

Zoology

ZOO 2010 - Zoology

  • A study of major phyla of the animal kingdom with emphasis upon the structure, function and evolutionary relationships.
