Swank Motion Pictures

Access

Go to learningresources.sjrstate.edu/swankfilms If you are prompted, sign in with your MySJRstate username & password. If you register for an instructor's account, you can search Swank's catalog but you cannot access films that have not been licensed.  

Licensing

Titles must be licensed in advance. It takes at least 2 business days for a title, once licensed, to become available for viewing in Swank. 

Cost

The Library pays $150 for 1 year of unlimited access. 

Terms

Videos licensed through Swank include public performance rights that allow them to be used in the educational setting. 

Accessibility

Videos are closed captioned and transcripts are provided.

Canvas Integration

Faculty can provide a link to a film in Swank or can send students to https://learningresources.sjrstate.edu/swankfilms. Films licensed through Swank cannot be embedded in Canvas. A librarian can help you connect your students to a film in Swank.
