Within the tabs across the top of page, you will find resources for each of the mathematics subject areas corresponding to our SJR State mathematics courses. These include, but are not limited to, handouts, videos, website links, and books on a variety of topics for each mathematics area.

Guidance in Selecting a Math Course

Are you planning to register for a math class and interested in checking your math skills to help guide your course selection?  Try EdReady.  This free resource includes a self-assessment which can assist you in determining your current math knowledge. It also provides lessons and practice if you would like a refresher on your math skills.

SJR State offers a variety of math courses from developmental mathematics (designed to refresh the pre-algebra and beginning algebra skills) up to Calculus (designed for students seeking STEM degrees).  There is also Liberal Arts Mathematics (designed for students seeking degrees in the Liberal Arts).  Make an appointment with an advisor to help determine the best math course(s) for your degree.
