This guide features resources available to current SJR State students from the Library, the Academic Support Center, and the College at large.

Free WiFi

On Campus Hotspots
SJR State WiFi is available to current students at these outdoor locations on campus: 

Palatka: Gym parking lot

Orange Park: H Building parking lot 

St. Augustine: H Building parking lot 

Students must log in using their MySJRstate username and password. Wi-Fi access will be available 24/7. Security will be provided. Restrooms and other college facilities may not be open to students or the public.

Free Library WiFi for Current Students

Students can use the Wifi  in the Library anytime Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Students must log in to the WiFi using their MySJRstate username and password. Need to reset your password? Password Reset Guide (PDF)

Using a Chromebook or Android device? Make sure it is up to date. Then, select these settings:

EAP method: PEAP

Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2

Server CA Certificate: Do not check


Free Off Campus Hotspots

Xfinity and AT&T have free WiFi hotspots. For access,

1.. Go to the WiFi Settings on your phone. 

2. If one of these network names is listed as an available wireless network, select it:

  • xfinitywifi 

  • att-wifi 

  • attwifi

The Clay County Public Library has mobile hotspots for Clay county residents to check out for 14 days.
